Coach Simmons presents the
first ever tennis evaluation camp taught by the leading experts
in tennis coaching and conditioning:
Participants will experience
three days of the highest level tennis and physical testing
utilizing the latest tools and techniques to provide the
athlete with a new level of professional knowledge to help
each player achieve their fullest potential.
A coach or parent must
accompany their player to the camp so that the information
gained can be used to help design long term training
programs once the athlete returns to their home facility.
What we know about the Road to College Tennis:
It takes a team of dedicated people to
develop players to reach their potential and receive an
opportunity to play college tennis at the highest level
possible.
The 'highest level' will be different for all
players. Whether desiring to play Division I, II, or
III there are several steps that must be taken to ensure
success.
Preparation is key. Parents and coaches
will work together with the Coach Simmons College Evaluation
Camp staff to create an individualized plan to help junior
players work toward their collegiate goals -- a development
strategy consisting of of all facets of the collegiate game
experience.
Traveling the Distance:
A two part plan will be developed under the
direct supervision of one of the most successful college
coaches in NCAA Division I tennis history -- Jerry Simmons.
Simmons and his staff have devised a strategic program to
assess the junior player at all levels.
